The buildings were built by human hand. They were decorated with the gold leaf, multi-colored pieces of glass and mirror, also Chinese porcelain which cut into small pieces in precise shape of flowers. They are literal dazzles in the sunlight.

The Royal Palace Built in 1782 in the reign of King Rama I when Bangkok was founded as the capital of Thailand.

The area divided into three zones :

The outer zone is on the North divided into two parts :-
The Emerald Buddha temple is on the East and the administrative offices is on the West where the various government offices are located here including the military officials, civil officials, harbor department, the royal treasury.

The middle zone is in the Center of the Palace. The beautiful buildings are located in this area for example Dusit Maha Prasat Throne Hall, The Chakri Maha Prasat Hall, etc. This area was the resident of the King, the Queen, the Princes, the Princess, the Royal Concubine, ladies-in-waiting and female office reside here until 1925.

The inner zone is the rear of the Royal Grand Palace. This is a forbidden area. They are closed for the public and the buildings were the resident of the King and the Royal Family.

Most of the buildings are in Traditional style, Dusit Maha Prasat Throne Hall. Some building is in European style but has a Thai Crown on top. This would be a blend style between Thai and European perfectly, The Chakri Maha Prasat Hall.
